Our Mission

Morgantown Community Church exists to empower people to take the next step on their journey with Christ.

What do the steps look like?

  1. Celebration: We gather each week on Sunday to worship as a community. The first step is being part of this gathering where we sing and talk about what it means to live as a follower of Jesus in the world.
  2. Community: Our Sunday gathering is not the end of the journey. Our hope is that every person who calls MCC home will take the next step and join a small group. Small groups are places to grow deeper in their faith and in relationship with other Jesus followers.
  3. Mission: The ultimate goal for us is to be plugged into a ministry. God has gifted and empowered every follower of Jesus to serve others in some way. As we worship and grow together, we anticipate that we will discover and exercise our gifts.
